Outdoor Against Cancer
Sport is a healing medicine in the fight against cancer - this is proven by 2000 studies worldwide. Sport supports the immune system, the metabolism and provides for a general physical well-being. Petra Thaller also gained this experience when she herself was diagnosed with breast cancer. Despite this shattering diagnosis, she remained true to sports activities and founded Outdoor against Cancer (OaC - a non-profit organisation).
The focus of this organisation is to highlight the high importance of sport and exercise in society. The aim is to create a Europe-wide network for cancer patients and to bring movement, life and nature back into the lives of those affected. The project is dedicated not only to cancer patients but also to healthy people. OaC has a broad portfolio of offers around sports and nature and supports private persons and companies in terms of design and implementation. Marinepool is looking forward to participate in this great project as official clothing partner of OaC and is looking forward to the common fight against cancer!
