On June 21 the Superyacht Cup Palma begins! This prestigious event is considered the oldest Superyacht regatta in all of Europe. Since 1996, high-profile sailing yachts, owners, and crews from around the world have gathered in Palma de Mallorca to participate in this prestigious race. To be part of it, a yacht must have a minimum length of 24 meters. The Superyacht Cup Palma follows the thrilling pursuit race format, where the start times of the yachts are staggered based on their handicaps. This makes for exciting competition on the water! In addition to races and award ceremonies, there will be numerous receptions where sailors, sailing enthusiasts, and industry experts can meet and connect. The time has come again! The 88th Nordseewoche will start on Friday, 26.05.2023. It is our pleasure to be the official clothing partner of the Nordseewoche again. We are proud to accompany this event since 2012. The Nordseewoche is the only German offshore regatta. It has been taking place since 1922. The sailing spectacle offers up to 2,000 sailors the opportunity to test their skills in 13 races.

We wish all participants of the Nordseewoche success, fun and plenty of wind in their sails!

As sailors, we experience the beauty of the ocean while on the water and gain a sense of how important it is to protect the ocean and its inhabitants. With the help of German actors, moderators, and influencers, the Ocean Trophy Sailing Race aims to raise awareness about the importance of environmental protection.

This year's event, taking place from May 3-10th in the Saronic Gulf of Athens, will showcase how marine conservation can be practiced by presenting projects on environmental protection and taking action to free the ocean of trash. The journey is packed with activities, including showcasing the "Pocket Parks" of Athens, small green spaces that improve air quality and create a pleasant climate in the Greek capital. The itinerary also includes a visit to a turtle rescue center, ghost net diving in the open sea, and a collective effort to collect plastic waste from the ocean.

Our new summer collection 2023 combines maritime lifestyle with technical and fashion aspects. New in our technical fashion is the Kin Sweat Jacket Unisex - warming, quick drying and antibacterial in a clean look. We have also added the classically chic softshell jackets Halmstad for men and St. Anna for women to our range. Both captivate with the perfect balance between fashion and performance - breathable, waterproof and windproof.

The outfit is completed by our new polos. Hilde captivates in a maritime look with quick-drying and UV-protective properties. Sophia is especially suitable for individualizing with logos. As a counterpart for men we offer on the technical side the Holm long and short sleeve polo. The stretchy polo is quick-drying, antibacterial and protects against UV rays.

Another novelty is our Largo Reversible Midlayer Jacket for men, which can be zipped into our upper-layer jackets, such as the Hobert and MP Performance Jacket. For the filling of the Largo we use Primaloft® made from recycled polyester. Primaloft® is a technical insulating filling, which impresses with breathability, lightness and softness.

Furthermore, we present four new unisex hoodies. Brendon and his jacket counterpart Marlon, as well as Bellino and his jacket twin Merlin. All are cozy warm, have large pockets and are in navy. Brendon and Marlon are designed with our lettering on the chest. Bellino and Merlin are kept simple with room for custom branding.

Women will love

It is with pleasure that we introduce our new sailing collection 2023. In line with our environmental goals, our new jackets are 100% PFC free! In addition, the jackets can be repaired optimally, as they are equipped with a zipper in the lining to access the inside of the jacket. It also allows personalized embroidery to be applied without damaging the jacket. The collection consists of three jackets - one Inshore and two Coastal jackets.

Our two new Coastal Jackets, Sonja and Langholm, find their creative origins in Marinepool's first sailing collection and transfer that look to our modern times. The Langholm Coastal Jacket for men features a classic, simple design without sacrificing performance. The water-repellent zipper is additionally protected by a double bar. Reflectors on the chest and shoulders provide good visibility alongside the bright yellow stowable hood. The design of the hood allows for 180° visibility. The high collar protects against inclement weather. The neoprene edging of the collar end prevents skin irritation. The lining of both jackets is divided into two zones. On the upper chest, a technical lining allows for optimal breathability. Sonja is our new Coastal jacket for women. Its design combines a feminine look with high performance. An inner placket serves as additional protection at the exposed, water-repellent zipper. Reflectors are placed on the shoulders for optimal visibility.

Our new Gotland Ocean jacket is inspired by developments in boat building.

YARE (Yacht Racing Design & Engineering) 2023 will take place again this year, as always in the coastal town of Viareggio.

The annual event, dedicated to the design, engineering and innovation of yachts and sailboats, is considered a particularly exclusive international event. It brings together experts from different fields for 3 days, including yacht designers, engineers, naval architects and boat builders, as well as outfitters. The Yare allows us to exchange ideas with leading representatives of the superyacht industry. The focus of the events is the exchange with the 100 captains visiting the event. 

Marinepool will be there again this year as the official apparel partner. We are looking forward to an exciting event and many interesting exchanges!

The Austrian Boat Show will take place in Tulln again this year as 
one of the largest fairs for water sports in Europe. It has been taking place for over 40 years and attracts around 50.000 water sports fans from all over the world each year. Here, visitors will find more than 380 trade exhibitors and discover innovations in water sports, various boats, beautiful water sports destinations or even equipment suppliers such as Marinepool!

As a particularly important theme, sailing has its own competence centre at the fair. In addition to sailing boats and yachts, jet boats, motor boats, catamarans, kayaks, inflatables, pedal boats and electric boats will also be on display.

Marinepool is pleased to open its own sales booth at BOOT TULLN from the 2nd to 5th March. Here we’ll present the new 2023 collection and advise you in the shop. Of Course, there will also be special fair prices for all visitors! 

The Dubai Boat Show 2023 is a leading event for the maritime industry, showcasing the latest luxury yachts, leisure boats and water sports equipment. The show is a platform for manufacturers, dealers and suppliers from around the world to showcase their products. Here they can connect with professionals and enthusiasts. In 2023, the Dubai Boat Show will place an emphasis on innovation, technology and design, a promising program.
